Airport in Nur-Sultan fined

The Committee for Quality Control and Safety of Goods and Services of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regarding the identified violations of quarantine requirements at the airport of Nur-Sultan, reports the following.

The Department of Quality Control and Safety of Goods and Services in Transport identified a number of violations of restrictive quarantine measures.

There are no separate corridors for arriving and departing passengers at the Nur-Sultan airport.

In addition, the social distance between passengers was not observed during check-in and boarding. There are no disinfection mats in the terminal, the apron bus drivers did not wear gloves while on duty, and there was a lack of masks.

In this regard, the Department imposed an administrative penalty on the Nur-Sultan international airport under Part 1 of Art. Administrative Code (1600 MCI), but within the framework of the reduced production, a fine of 2.2 million tenge was paid.

Also, administrative proceedings were initiated under a similar article of the Code of Administrative Offenses (1600 MCI) against the Scat airline for non-observance of the social distance between passengers during boarding and not conducting a pre-shift medical examination of personnel, but against Air Astana for the lack of a protective fence in the ticket sales office , incl. not carrying out a pre-shift medical examination of personnel.

For the information of passengers, in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, 15 stationary thermal imaging systems have been installed in three terminals of the capital airport: building T1 (international), building T2 (internal) and building "Severny".

At the same time, thermal imaging cameras are installed at a certain distance and measure the temperature of people in the stream, without causing inconvenience to arriving and departing passengers, and also eliminates their congestion.

In connection with the expiration of the term of the reduced production, a fine of 1600 MCI was imposed on the international airport of Almaty city under part 1 of article 425 of the Administrative Code.
