Chairman of the Committee Nurkan Sadvakassov held a meeting with the UNECE Executive Secretary Ms. Olga Algayerova

On November 17, 2022, on the margins of the 6th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Protocol on Water and Health to the Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes in Geneva, delegation of Kazakhstan headed by Mr. Nurkan Sadvakassov, Chairman of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control, held a meeting with the UNECE Executive Secretary Ms. Olga Algayerova.

They discussed the process of Kazakhstan's accession to the Protocol, joint projects, and preparation for the UN Water Conference to be held in March 2023.

Kazakhstan and UN representatives expressed satisfaction with the dynamics of our country’s cooperation with UNECE and WHO, and hope for further implementation of joint projects.
