In the Akmola region, autumn preventive cleaning and disinfection of water supply facilities is carried out

In the cities and districts of the Akmola region, planned measures are being completed for the autumn preventive cleaning, washing and disinfection of water supply facilities.

These procedures are performed in accordance with clause 158 of Sanitary Rules No. 209 of March 16, 2015 "Sanitary and Epidemiological Requirements for Water Sources, Water Intakes for Domestic and Drinking Purposes, Domestic and Drinking Water Supply and Places of Cultural and Domestic Water Use and Safety of Water Bodies."

Washing and disinfection of water supply and heating networks is carried out by a specialized organization licensed for the specified type of activity. The quality control is carried out by the production laboratory of the water user.

All types of disinfection work at water supply facilities are mandatory in the presence of specialists from territorial departments for quality control and safety of goods and services. Then the water samples undergo a double laboratory test.

The act of cleaning, washing and disinfection is issued after receiving the results of laboratory tests for compliance with the requirements for the quality of drinking water.

There are 364 water pipelines under the control of the Department of Quality Control and Safety of Goods and Services of Akmola region. Autumn preventive disinfection of water supply facilities in the cities of Kokshetau and Stepnogorsk was carried out in full. At the stage of completion - work on cleaning, washing and disinfection of water supply facilities in the regions of the region.
