Organization of a student's workplace in distance learning

Today, due to the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the country, most of the schoolchildren receive knowledge through distance education systems while sitting in front of a computer. In order for distance learning to be as comfortable and safe for the health of the student as possible, a number of conditions should be taken into account.

The monitor screen should be at arm's length (50-70 cm). The top of the monitor should be at or slightly below eye level. The height of the chair should be such that the child's feet are flat on the floor and the knees are bent at a 90-degree angle.

Lighting should be comfortable for vision. It is better to place the desktop in such a way that natural light from the window falls under the working hand (for a right-handed person - on the left, for a left-handed person - on the right);

A distance learning student uses a computer and this requires a certain organization. It is very inconvenient to use one desk for writing and a computer, therefore, if possible, these two workplaces should be separated.

The table must be of a suitable height for the child's height so that he does not have to slouch while studying. Your elbows should be on the table and the back of the chair should be firm and flat against your spine.

Every 45 minutes it is correct to take breaks to do gymnastics for the eyes and physical warm-up. This is necessary to maintain good focus and good organ function;

Maintain the student's eyesight with vitamins and supplements with lutein, antioxidants. If there are signs of decreased vision, you should consult an optometrist. Timely measures taken, including retinalamine injections and special eye drops, can stop this process.
