On May 2, 2019, a regular meeting of the Audit Commission took place.

At the meeting of the audit commission, the results of the expert and analytical event and the state audit of planning and execution of the regional budget, the use of budget funds for individual budget programs, and the implementation of the development program for the Karaganda region were summed up.

As a result of the meeting, it was noted that the implementation of the Development Program of the Karaganda region had a positive impact on the socio-economic development of the region.

Failure to achieve 17 target indicators of the GOT, non-fulfillment of a number of activities of the plan for its implementation was mainly the result of ineffective work of administrators of budget programs, executives and co-executors of the Program.

During the execution of the regional budget, due observance of certain procedures established by the Budget Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan was not ensured.

The low responsibility of administrators for submitting reasonable budget applications, high-quality formation of indicators and proper management of budget programs, as well as the lack of constructive interaction with the authorized body, as in previous years, were the main reasons for violations and shortcomings in planning and budget execution.

According to the results of the audit, instructions were sent to the heads of the Economy Department and the Finance Department.
