Press release

On September 17, 2020, a regular meeting of the Audit Commission took place.

At the meeting of the Audit Commission, the results of the analysis and state audit of the effectiveness of the implementation of public-private partnership projects in the Karaganda region were summed up.

During the meeting, it was noted that the use of the public-private partnership mechanism in general contributed to meeting the growing demand from the population for quality services, as well as the creation and development of social infrastructure facilities.
Private investments in the amount of 5,856,327.0 thousand tenge were attracted for the development of the social sphere of the region, of which 87.2% were directed to health care, education (preschool education and training) and language development - 12.7% and 0.1%, respectively ...

At the same time, improper interdepartmental interaction of public partners with private partners and the authorized body for state planning, improper responsibility of administrators of budget programs for system monitoring and control create risks of improper implementation of public-private partnership projects and poor quality assessment of the achievement of their results.
