The CRNM discussed the issue of conducting an expert examination of the price of KazTransGas Aimak JSC.

Today, on October 19, 2021, a public hearing was held in the Committee on Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where the issue of conducting an expert examination of the price of KazTransGas Aimak JSC for the provision of services for the retail sale of commercial gas was discussed.

Taking into account the epidemiological situation in the country, the public hearing was held online, where interested persons took part.

Deputy Chairman of the CRNM Akan Tashpanov presided at the hearings, where he welcomed all participants of the hearing, and familiarized them with the procedure for holding a public hearing, and also noted the need to actively express their suggestions and comments on the issue of price examination for the provision of services for the retail sale of commercial gas.

 "This public hearing is conducted by the Company in order to ensure transparency and publicity to consumers of KazTransGas Aimak JSC. The issue of the examination of the price for the provision of services for the retail sale of commercial gas is very important and should be comprehensively considered," said the Deputy Chairman of the CRNM.

Further, the head of the Department of Regulation in the field of oil and Gas Transportation, Kazybek Ratbekov, spoke with the information received on the examination of the price.

It should be noted that the Committee is holding this hearing for the purposes of transparency and transparency of pricing. 

Then the participants of the public hearing asked questions of interest and concern to them. 

In conclusion, Akan Tashpanov, thanking everyone for their participation and active expression of proposals, noted that the final decision on the results of the price examination will be known within the time limits established by the pricing rules in socially significant markets.

It should be noted that the Committee always takes into account the opinions of the participants of the public hearing and tries to maintain a balance of interests between consumers and the subject when making a final decision.
