Akan Tashpanov appointed Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Regulation of Natural Monopolies

Tashpanov Akan Amantayevich has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In this place, he replaced Ibraikhanov Yerbolat Maksutkhanovich, who is currently on academic leave, and has held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan since October 2019.

Akan Tashpanov was born in 1982, graduated from the Kazakh State Law University in 2003 with a degree in Jurisprudence, and graduated from the Master's degree program of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2009.

He started his career working as an ordinary specialist in various organizations in the cities of Astana and Kostanay.

Since October 2003, he began his career in public service, holding positions from a simple specialist of the Department of Justice, head of the department, also worked in local representative bodies and executive offices as deputy head of the regional maslikhat, deputy akims of the city and district to head of the Department of the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies in the Kostanay region.

Over the years, he held the positions of expert and chief expert in the Committee on Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy and the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance.

From October 2018 to October 2019, he was Deputy Head of the Department of the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies, Protection of Competition and Consumer Rights of the Ministry of National Economy in Kostanay region, which was reorganized into the Department of the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies, the Department of the Agency for Protection and Development of Competition and the Department of the Committee for Consumer Protection in Kostanay region.

And from October 2019 to the present, he has held the position of Head of the Department of the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kostanay region.
