The CRNM took part in the X International Conference and exhibition of the water industry "SU ARNASY - WATER EXPO"

Last Friday, September 24 this year, a Republican meeting was held within the framework of the X International Conference and Exhibition of the Water Industry "SU ARNASY - WATER EXPO", which was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurlan Dzhalgasbayev.

Nurlan Dzhalgasbayev informed the participants of the meeting about the objectives of the Committee's tariff policy, the work on improving legislation, the transition of subjects to long-term tariffs and the volume of investments in the sphere of natural monopolies for 2015-2021.

The meeting discussed key issues and problems in the implementation of infrastructure projects of water supply and sanitation according to various models of public-private partnership, the search for alternative sources of financing capital expenditures in the implementation of capital-intensive projects and the return of funds from private investors, given the high interest of domestic and foreign companies in projects for the construction and reconstruction of sewage treatment plants.

Heads and specialists of state bodies, water management organizations, water utilities, scientific, production and design organizations, scientific and educational community also took part.

Following the meeting, the participants expressed interest in further fruitful cooperation in the development of the water supply and sanitation industry.
