The DCRNM told about anti-corruption measures

Today, on March 3, 2021, a meeting on the measures taken to combat corruption in the department was held under the chairmanship of the Head of the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the participation of a representative of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was held in an online format with the participation of employees of the Committee and the leadership of territorial departments.

The Chairman of the Committee, Asan Darbayev, welcomed the participants of the meeting, spoke about the prevention of corruption and innovations in anti-corruption legislation.

He also recalled that in December last year, the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Corruption held a meeting on the prevention of corruption, where the Anti-Corruption Service noted possible risks for committing corruption offenses in the field of regulation of natural monopolies.

At the end of his speech, Asan Darbayev instructed the working groups on conducting internal corruption risk to ensure effective work in this area and posting information about the results of the audit on the official website of the Committee.

It should be noted that these working groups function on a permanent basis in the Committee itself and its territorial departments.

The departments of the Committee, which stopped at the implementation of the Roadmap of the Anti-Corruption Committee for 2020-2022, did not remain on the sidelines either.

The heads of the DCRNM in Nur-Sultan and the Kyzylorda region told specifically about the implementation of the Roadmap.

At the end of the meeting, the Head of the Department set specific tasks for the employees of the Committee and its territorial divisions.
