The head of the DCRMN met with consumers of the city of Atyrau.

Today, on February 15, 2021, Chairman of the Committee on Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Asan Darbayev, having visited Atyrau on a working trip, met with consumers of the city who applied to the territorial department of the Committee on problems related to the municipal sphere.

The problems of consumers concerned, in particular, the areas of heat supply, electricity and gas supply.

For example, citizens Natalia Baumgertner and Daria Tolstova appealed about the legality of the actions of JSC ATEC in terms of invoicing for December last year. 

And also, citizen Zhaksybayev Rufat addressed a problematic issue concerning the monthly application of the correction factor for the consumed gas.

The rest of the consumers asked to explain the reasons why since the beginning of the year, cases of power outages in some parts of the city have become more frequent, since household appliances of various purposes fail due to frequent power outages, and who is generally responsible for compensation for damage in such cases.

The head of the Tariff Regulator Asan Darbayev listened to each of the consumers, and tried to give clear explanations on each problem voiced by him. 

It should be noted that on this day, the Chairman of the Committee for the Regulation of Natural Monopolies introduced the new head of the department, Alibek Tolep Abdumanapovich, to the staff of the department.

Alibek Tolep previously held the position of Head of the Department of Regulation in the fields of Railway Transport and Ports of the Committee and worked for many years in the field of natural monopolies.

Asan Darbayev instructed the new head of the Department of Management for the Atyrau region to take all consumer appeals under special control and take the necessary measures to solve the problems expressed by consumers.

Representatives of a number of mass media of the region were also invited to the meeting with consumers, who were able to ask their questions to the Head of the Tariff Regulator.

Taking the opportunity that representatives of local media and natural monopolies were present at the meeting in addition to consumers, the Head of the Tariff Regulator introduced them to the new Head of the Department of the Committee for the Atyrau Region, noting that they can already apply to the new head of the Atyrau Department of the DCRNM on tariff formation in the municipal sphere.

Also, at the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the DCRNM recommended that representatives of natural monopolies conduct active and open explanatory work with the population on invoicing for utility services, as well as on the ongoing work related to heat metering devices.

I would like to note once again that the DCRNM always adheres to the principle of the" Hearing state", which the Head of State designated for all state bodies.
