The DCRNM has approved a gas tariff in the capital below the planned level.

On October 30, the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved the tariff for the Astana branch of KazTransGas Aimak JSC for commercial gas for the city of Nur-Sultan in the amount of 30.9 excluding VAT per 1 cubic meter.meter (including VAT of 34.6 per 1 cubic meter) with entry into force from November 1, 2020. The tariff will be valid for 1 year.

When calculating the final selling price of commercial gas for consumers of the city of Nursultan, the current marginal prices of wholesale sales of commercial gas, approved by the order of the Minister of Energy No. 196 of May 18, 2020, were taken into account. We

note that the tariff was an order of magnitude lower than the forecast one, which was previously reported in a number of media.
