Boiler explosion in Kaskelen, Karasay district, Almaty region

On November 05, 2021 at 08:30 in Kaskelen on Dostyk Street, 4 d of Karasai district, on the territory of the fruit and vegetable processing and canning workshop owned by ROSTOK FOOD LLP, a steam boiler exploded, followed by a partial collapse of the roof, without subsequent ignition.

As a result of the explosion, two workers died: B. Urekeeva, born in 1960, and N. Kuatov, born in 1994.

Department employees were promptly sent to the scene of the incident to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

Dangerous technical devices are not registered in the Department for ROSTOK FOOD LLP (ROSTOK FOOD).

In accordance with Article 84 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Civil Protection" dated 11.04.2014 No. 188-V of the Air Defense System, a commission was established to investigate accidents.

The final circumstances and causes of the accident will be established during the investigation.
