Accident at the Abayskaya mine of the ArcelorMittal Temirtau Coal Department

On November 7, at 08.37 o'clock in the city of Abay, an accident occurred at the Abayskaya mine of the ArcelorMittal Temirtau Coal Department due to a sudden release of methane. As a result of the accident, 6 people were killed.

On behalf of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, a commission headed by the Minister of Emergency Situations Yuri Ilyin went to the scene of the incident.
