The results of the audit of Potential Oil LLP

Inspectors of the Atyrau Department of the Industrial Safety Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted an inspection of hazardous production facilities of Potential Oil LLP.

Potential Oil LLP was founded in 2001 and has the right to explore, extract and divide hydrocarbons at the Begaidar site in Atyrau region. To date, the fund of wells producing products is 87 units, some of the previously drilled wells have been transferred to the reservoir pressure maintenance system, some have been transferred to the observation fund.  The main activity of Potential Oil LLP can be classified as oil production and preparation, since the gas produced along the way is used for its own needs as fuel for oil track heaters.

According to the results of the audit, a number of violations of the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of industrial safety were revealed. The inspectors have drawn up instructions on the elimination of the detected violations and initiated cases of administrative offenses under the first part of Article 298 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
