The results of the inspection of JSC "Temirtau Electrometallurgical Combine"

Inspectors of the Karaganda Department of the Industrial Safety Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted a special inspection of Temirtau Electrometallurgical Combine JSC in the period from October 4 to October 19 of this year.

The objects of the inspection were hazardous production facilities and technical devices in the workshops: a workshop for the production of ferroalloys and calcium carbide, a lime production workshop, a foundry section of a metallurgical equipment repair shop, a central factory laboratory, a nitrogen-oxygen workshop.

According to the results of the audit, violations of the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of industrial safety were revealed. The inspectors have drawn up instructions on the elimination of the detected violations and initiated cases of administrative offenses under the first part of Article 298 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
