Results of the audit of JSC "Maten Petroleum"

Inspectors of the Atyrau Department of the Industrial Safety Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted an inspection of hazardous production facilities of Maten Petroleum LLP located at the fields of Kara-ARNA, Kok-ARNA, PSN Karaton of the Zhylyoy district and at the Matin field of the Kyzylkuginsky district of the Atyrau region.

The main activities of the company are the operation and development of oil, gas and gas condensate fields; extraction, maintenance of reservoir pressure (PPD), collection, in-field transportation of oil and gas; oil preparation and processing of oil and gas, sale of raw materials and refined products, including the production and sale of petroleum products and petrochemicals; drilling of exploratory, exploration, structural and production wells for oil, gas and water, their conservation and liquidation.

According to the results of the audit, violations of the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of industrial safety were revealed. The inspectors have drawn up instructions on the elimination of the detected violations and initiated cases of administrative offenses under the first part of Article 298 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
