Identification of hazardous production facilities

In accordance with the "Rules for the identification of hazardous production facilities" dated December 30, 2014 No. 353, hazardous production facilities of organizations include enterprises, production units and other objects of these enterprises identified by the signs defined by Article 70 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Civil Protection", as well as objects of industries and activities identified as hazardous production facilities, according to Annex 1 to the Rules for the Identification of Hazardous Production Facilities.

Dangerous technical devices classified as dangerous production facilities in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 71 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Civil Protection" are identified by the parameters and technical characteristics specified in the passport of a dangerous technical device.

Identification of hazardous production facilities is carried out by the organization independently. According to the results of identification, the organization provides information to the territorial subdivision of the authorized body in the field of industrial safety in accordance with Annex 2 to the Rules for the Identification of Hazardous Production Facilities within fifteen working days. At the identified hazardous production facilities, the activities of organizations are carried out in accordance with the requirements of industrial safety.

At hazardous production facilities, the total level of danger of a hazardous production facility is calculated annually. Determination of the general level of danger of a hazardous production facility is carried out in order to assess the state of protection of individuals and legal entities, the environment from the harmful effects of hazardous production factors by monitoring industrial safety carried out by the responsible person of the hazardous production facility and the territorial subdivision of the authorized body in the field of industrial safety.

Information on the general level of danger of a hazardous production facility is annually submitted by the organization operating a hazardous production facility to the territorial subdivision of the authorized body in the field of industrial safety, no later than January 15 of the year following the reporting year, in accordance with the annex to the Rules for determining the general level of danger of a hazardous production facility.
