Meeting on strengthening production control at warehouses of explosive materials

On September 9 of this year, an online meeting was held in the Department of the Industrial Safety Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Almaty region together with a representative of the Department of Emergency Situations-A. I. Kubrak and heads of organizations conducting explosive work and work with explosive materials.

During the meeting, it was explained about the need to strengthen production control, take the necessary measures to maximize industrial and fire safety.

The provisions of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Civil Protection", in particular subparagraph 12-1) of paragraph 3 of Article 16 of the Law, on the obligation of organizations to provide information to the territorial divisions of the authorized body in the field of industrial safety on the accounting (arrival, expenditure, issue and return) of explosives and products based on them used in the production of explosive works at hazardous production facilities, were also explained.

At the end of the meeting, it was decided to develop an Action Plan to prevent emergency situations and send quarterly information on the accounting (arrival, expenditure, issue and return) of explosives and products based on them used in the production of explosive works at hazardous production facilities to the Department.
