Organization of production control in the field of industrial safety

Industrial safety is the state of protection of individuals and legal entities, the environment from the harmful effects of hazardous production factors.

Industrial safety is ensured by state supervision, as well as production control at a hazardous production facility. Production control is the most important link in the safe activity of people and the operation of technical devices at the enterprise.

Production control is carried out by officials of the production control service in order to minimize the risk of harmful effects of hazardous production factors on employees, the population falling into the calculated zone of the spread of an emergency situation, the environment. For this purpose, internal control measures are carried out by the owners or managers of hazardous production facilities:

- the person organizing the production control system and responsible for its functioning is the owner or head of the organization of a hazardous production facility;

- the person responsible for the implementation of production control is the deputy head or chief engineer;

- the person who carries out operational management and coordination of work to ensure production control at the enterprise - are the persons defined by the order for the enterprise (site managers, foremen).

Production control in the field of industrial safety is carried out on the basis of the regulatory act on production control in the field of industrial safety, approved by the order of the head of the organization. The regulatory act must contain the rights and obligations of the officials of the organization performing production control in the field of industrial safety. The employee responsible for the implementation of production control reports directly to the head. The rights and obligations of the responsible person are determined by the regulations and technological regulations.
