Measures to ensure industrial safety in the field of gas and gas supply

The inspection staff of the territorial Departments of the Industrial Safety Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan held joint events with representatives of gas engineering inspections of local executive bodies to explain the norms of the current legislation in the field of gas and gas supply to organizations operating in this field.

The organizations carrying out the discharge and filling of liquefied petroleum gas at gas filling stations, gas filling stations and stations, as well as market entities providing services in this segment were visited. Technical meetings were held, during which issues of compliance with industrial safety requirements during the operation of equipment in the field of gas and gas supply were discussed.

Representatives of these organizations have been explained the norms of the current legislation, the powers of production control services, responsibility for violating safety requirements and the consequences in case of their timely non-removal.

We remind you that on July 2 of this year, on the territory of the village of Zhibek Zholy of the Arshaly district of the Akmola region, on the territory of the NORD gas station, a gas carrier caught fire when draining gas (there were no injuries). According to this fact of the incident, the commission investigated the causes of the accident, developed measures that are under strict control of the territorial divisions of the authorized body in the field of industrial safety.
