The program "Taza Kazakhstan", initiated in early April 2024 by the President of the country K.-Zh. Tokayev, is continued to be widely supported by Kostanay residents. The goal of this initiative is to increase environmental awareness of the population and improve the state of the environment in various regions of the region.
As part of the program, the region continues to hold creative, large-scale events: educational events, round tables, seminars, etc., aimed at increasing environmental awareness of citizens.
Cooperation with local businesses and public organizations plays an important role in the implementation of the program. Thus, representatives of the business community, youth, athletes and ethnocultural associations actively participate in the events.
On February 10 of this year, as part of the national program "Taza Kazakhstan", a social video experiment called "Will you throw it away or pick it up?" was held in the village of Sarykol.
The head of state has repeatedly emphasized the importance of caring for nature, noting that environmental responsibility is not only the task of every citizen, but also one of the key factors in the sustainable development of the country. "Taza Kazakhstan" is an important part of the state environmental policy aimed at improving the environment and raising the level of environmental culture in society.
The main goal of the event is to check how people react to garbage left in a public place: whether they will ignore it or pick it up and throw it in the trash. The experiment also revealed the level of environmental awareness among the population.
In several public places in the village - on the street, in the park, near the school and near stores - the organizers discreetly left garbage (plastic bottles, paper cups, candy wrappers, etc.) and recorded the reaction of passers-by on a hidden camera.
The organizers are confident that such initiatives help to increase awareness of the importance of ecology. It is planned to hold a series of information meetings, environmental campaigns and flash mobs aimed at forming a responsible attitude to the environment.
Residents of the city of Borovskoye, Mendykara district, within the framework of the republican environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan", together with the KGU "Youth Resource Center of the Mendykara District" held the campaign "Snow under control: help for the elderly". The initiative is aimed at helping lonely pensioners who are unable to cope with snow removal on their own in the winter. Young volunteers took part in clearing snow near the homes of elderly people, ensuring the safety and comfort of their lives.
"This campaign is very important for us. We understand that in winter many elderly people face difficulties in removing snow. Our volunteers help make their lives a little easier by removing snow and preventing possible falls or other accidents. In addition, participation in such projects gives us the opportunity to feel the value of mutual assistance and creates an atmosphere of support in society. We are grateful to everyone who takes part in our campaigns and supports our initiative." - emphasized volunteer Anton Georgievich Satayev.
"Thanks to such initiatives, a new culture and new social ethics are taking root in the country. We can say that this is true patriotism and concern for the Motherland. "Through such actions, a new quality of our nation is being formed," the President said in his Address to the People of Kazakhstan.
A round table on "Problems of Ecology in Kazakhstan" was held in the city of Rudny at the KGU "Comprehensive School No. 17" of the Department of Education of the city of Rudny.
The round table was opened by Aidana Tazhenova, a 9th grade student, who in her opening remarks explained what ecology is and how it affects the daily life of each person. During the event, the speaker used interactive techniques of Singaporean technologies that facilitated the active involvement of participants in the discussion.
The main part of the event included teamwork: the participants were divided into three groups of two people and were given the task of developing infographics reflecting the causes of environmental problems, their consequences and possible solutions.
The next stage was a discussion of current environmental issues.
In conclusion, the participants summed up the results of the round table, discussing the most interesting ideas and proposing real steps that can be implemented now.
The event became another contribution to the implementation of the republican campaign "Taza Kazakhstan", aimed at forming environmental responsibility and careful attitude to nature among the citizens of Kazakhstan.
