One of the districts of the Kostanay region will be named after Beyimbet Mailin

In the Taran district, public hearings were held on the renaming of the village of Taranovskoye into the village of Ayet, the Taran district - into the district of Beyimbet Mailin. The hearings involved local residents and residents of other districts. According to Kalkaman Zhakyp, candidate of philological sciences, professor of A. Baitursynov KSU, the decision to rename the village and the district was made unanimously.

“Everybody’s speeches were very relevant, reasoned. The mood of the local residents was benevolent. Representatives of public organizations and youth spoke today. The members of the commission also gave speeches, who explained the population the expediency of renaming from the toponymical point of view, as well as from the historical point of view. Residents supported the proposal to rename the district and the village”, Kalkaman Zhakyp said. Now, according to a member of the regional commission, documents will be prepared within 5-6 months, which will be further submitted for consideration to the Republican Onomastic Commission.
