Potable water was carried to remote districts of Kostanay region

As a part of commemoration of the ninetieth anniversary of the Amangeldy district in the Amantogay rural district, under the Ak Bulak program, a ceremonial opening of the water pipe-line took place. As it was noted, during the ceremony, the issue of carrying potable water to these regions was acute for a long time. The water pipe-line, which was built here in the times of the USSR, has completely outdated. The project was implemented within the framework of the Ak Bulak state program. Construction of the water pipe-line began in 2017.

More than 432 million tenge were allocated from the republican budget for construction and installation works, and more than 48 million tenge were allocated from the regional budget. Akim of the region Archimedes Mukhambetov also took part in the opening ceremony. He emphasized the quality of the work on the construction of the water pipe-line. “The availability of potable water is the most important question for populated localities. The work of potable water supply to villages and populated localities is continuing in our region by order of the Head of State.

I am grateful to the contracting company for the quality work. In general, about 2 billion tenge was spent to carry potable water to the Amangeldy, Yessir, Amantogay and Urpek villages. Ways are paved, water is carried, a large meat processing plant will open in Arkalyk over the next two weeks. All this is done for residents of rural settlements. Local executive bodies always keep development issues of remote districts under special control,” said A. Mukhambetov.

According to akim of Amantogay rural district, Zhumaniyaz Ilyassov, earlier, while the old water pipe-line was operating, potable water was supplied to residents only for an hour or half an hour a day. Now they get water 24 hours a day.
