"CLEAN DAYS" IN KAMYSTY DISTRICT: HOW THE ECOPROGRAM IN THE VILLAGE WAS SUPPORTED

Residents of the Kamysty district actively responded to the call of the President of Kazakhstan to take part in the large-scale environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan", which started in April 2024. Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are declared "Cleanliness Days" here.

During the campaign, 21,551 tons of garbage were removed, 3,850 seedlings were planted, and 4,670 people took part in the clean-up days. In total, more than 150 clean-up days were organized, in which civil servants, public sector employees, representatives of small and medium businesses, as well as local youth took part.

Today, on Tuesday, another mass clean-up of rural areas took place in Kamysty. Music is traditionally played at the environmental events that have covered the district - this is a gift to the villagers from the creative groups of the district to create their good mood. Fairs of environmentally friendly products from local producers, as well as treats for all guests, were organized.

In addition to cleaning and landscaping the area, the organizers of the Clean Days have provided a large-scale program of actions, which is being actively implemented time after time.

It includes such initiatives as demolition of dilapidated housing, replacement of fences along a length of 10 km, installation of sidewalks along 2.9 km, installation of lighting on 23 streets, road repairs in several settlements, reconstruction of the stadium in the village of Arka, installation of playgrounds and sports grounds, planting and pruning of trees.

In addition, during the two summer months, the youth detachment "Zhasyl El" worked in the area, 63 students became its fighters.
