The President visited the Smart Center for Children IQostanay
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev got acquainted with the activities of the Smart Center for Children IQostanay in Kostanay.
Currently, about two thousand students receive additional education here, 24 clubs operate.
The palace has cyber sports, engineering, aircraft modeling rooms equipped with modern technological means, as well as chemical and physical laboratories, a laboratory of renewable energy sources, as well as an assembly, educational and choreographic halls.
Children attending robotics, engineering and aircraft modeling clubs presented their projects to the Head of State, and then demonstrated experiments in a virtual laboratory.
“I think that in the future you will have good opportunities to apply your knowledge, skills and qualifications, because all this is in demand in modern life, the economy and other areas. We must be a technological nation and keep up with the times. We need people like you who will advance our domestic technologies,” the President said, addressing the pupils of the Smart Center.
Students thanked Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for the decision to increase the number of educational grants for technical specialties.
