The Head of State visited the Localization Center of JSC AgromashHolding KZ

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's working visit to the Kostanay region continued with a visit to the Localization Center of AgromashHolding KZ JSC.

The President was introduced to the activities of the enterprise, which was created to produce wheeled self-propelled agricultural machinery and components for the engineering industry as a whole. Today, 700 people produce 250 thousand units and components per year. Since the beginning of the year, the plant has produced about 1 thousand tractors and 300 combines.

As the President was told, the Localization Center received an order to manufacture a number of components for CLAAS tractors and combines. Moreover, a contract will be signed with the global manufacturer of mounted and trailed equipment AMAZONE in the coming days, and this year the assembly of seeding complexes and sprayers will begin on the plant's territory.

The head of state was also informed that the center has begun working with KIA to produce tooling for components of the new plant, which will be launched in 2025.

Then Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with representatives of the workforce

The plant workers noted that they listened to the President's Address to the People of Kazakhstan with particular pride, because now the prestige of blue-collar jobs should increase exponentially.

In a conversation with the workers of the center, the Head of State emphasized the need to increase the localization of production, train qualified personnel and update agricultural machinery.

– The wear and tear of equipment throughout the country is very high. Some experts believe that it reaches 80%. It is time to update the entire fleet with equipment manufactured in Kazakhstan, at a high level of localization. We are glad that young people studying these professions in colleges are now coming to production, - said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

In turn, the plant workers, on behalf of all machine builders, thanked the President for supporting blue-collar jobs.
