Minister of Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Kaletaev visited Kostanay region

The Minister of Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Kaletaev together with the head of the region, Archimed Mukhambetov, participated in the meeting, where he explained the main provisions of the President’s Message.

Opening the meeting, head of the region, Archimed Mukhambetov, emphasized that the Message of the President as of October 5, 2018 is relevant for every citizen of the country and has a strong social aspect, focused on the development of human resources and components. Therefore, now, according to the head of the region, it is important to correctly communicate information to every resident of a city, district and village. In this regard, immediately after the articulation of the Message in the region, 21 information groups are created, which will cover all districts and villages of the region with their activities, specifically addressing the main provisions and objectives of the Message. An important role in explaining the Message is also played by the Ministry of Social Development, which is responsible for the civil sector.

The Minister Darkhan Kaletayev expressed the opinion that in the new Message there is an element of some reengineering of social processes. “Firstly, the Message was built dotted through the prism of specific problems of concern to the population - these are tariffs, housing prices, utilities, and health care. 52 thousand kindergarten teachers will undergo advanced training, including a national qualification test, the status of a teacher will increase, and wages will increase. At the same time, it was entrusted to increase labor productivity and the export of processed agricultural products by 2.5 times. This issue is related to your region, the agrarians of the region”, - says D. Kaletaev.

The Minister went through all the main points that the Head of State articulated in the new Message. In particular, he focused on the development of Youth Policy and the Year of Youth. “Now we do not consider the adoption of a separate program for young people, we want to approach implementation from 4 points of view, 4 things that are important for young people - education, employment, housing and family. A lot of programs in the country are being implemented, and in each of them we will introduce a youth indicator. We see no point in developing a new program. Based on these 4 parameters, we are planning to hold the Year of Youth”, - said the Minister of Social Development. At the same time, as the Minister emphasized, it is important that both the authorities and the civilian sector participate in the implementation of the Message. “The distance between the state and society should be constantly reduced. This is evidenced by the President. This provides for constant feedback. All programs and reforms are aimed at this”, - concluded D. Kaletaev.

Darkhan Kaletayev also met with the representatives of the regional civil sector in the NGO House. According to the Minister, the experience of the Kostanay region is an example for the whole republic, because it was in this region that the regional resource center was created for the first time, which brought together several non-governmental organizations under its roof. For this, a historic building was allocated on May 1, where organizations can open their office and hold their events. Now such centers are being created all over Kazakhstan. Representatives of the civil sector had the opportunity to ask the Minister questions about his activities.

During the visit, the Minister visited the Karabalyk district, visited the central mosque and a number of enterprises in the regional center.
