Investments bring positive results

Today, under the chairmanship of the Akim of Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov, a meeting of the akimat was held to discuss preparations for the new school year and the upcoming harvesting campaign. During the meeting, the Akim of the region emphasized the importance of educational investments and noted: "Over the past three years, the budget for education in Kostanay region has increased by one and a half times, reaching an impressive 196.3 billion tenge. This indicates significant investments in the educational sphere, which is important for regional development." Kumar Aksakalov also drew attention to the increase in the number of schoolchildren by 2 thousand people, which indicates an increased need for high-quality educational services and requires the creation of new educational institutions. "To solve the problem of overloading existing schools, nine new educational institutions are being actively built. Of these, six schools are planned to open by the end of this year, which will significantly relieve the existing educational infrastructure and create more comfortable conditions for students," the Akim of the region added. In addition, it was noted that more than 7 billion tenge have been allocated for the repair of existing schools this year. These funds are aimed at improving learning conditions, including upgrading classrooms, improving infrastructure and ensuring the safety of schoolchildren. Funding for school modernization has also increased significantly — by 80%, reaching 1.8 billion tenge. Kumar Aksakalov emphasized that the main goal of these investments is to create a modern educational environment and improve the quality of education. "Modern technologies, new teaching methods and updated teaching materials will help schoolchildren receive education at a higher level, which will have a positive impact on their further development and success," he concluded.
During the meeting, agricultural issues were also discussed. Record investments of 175 billion tenge, which is 65% more than last year's figures aimed at supporting the region's agriculture, have made it possible to achieve significant results. The condition of grain crops has improved significantly, from 43% to 69.9% of crops are in good condition. The akim of the region noted that a massive locust invasion was prevented thanks to the timely chemical treatment of more than 1 million hectares. To ensure consistently high yields in the future, it is necessary to increase the volume of mineral fertilizers to 256 thousand tons. "This will lay the foundation for a rich harvest in 2025," Kumar Aksakalov emphasized.
