“Taza Kazakhstan” campaign: An eco-hike took place in Rudny on the banks of the Tobol

A number of environmental events that take place within the framework of the republican action “Taza Kazakhstan” continue in the Kostanay region. In an unusual format, the Youth Resource Center, together with employees of the Emergency Situations Department of Rudny and city activists, conducted team building “Sports Eco-Hike” and training on safe behavior on water bodies. The event started at 8:00. About 40 participants gathered on the coast of Tobol, where together they collected plastic, bags and other garbage.

-The importance of the national campaign “Taza Kazakhstan” was emphasized by the Head of State during his speech at the annual session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan “Unity. Creation. Progress". As our President noted: “All of Kazakhstan must be clean. And this depends on us and on the youth. I believe in our youth,” noted the Rudny Youth Resource Center.

The department also said that the sports eco-trip is aimed at cultivating in the public consciousness environmentally responsible behavior of the population, including young people, and respect for nature.

Participants of the eco-action also shared their impressions. According to the young workers of the Zhasyl El detachments, thanks to the republican wave of environmental movement under the auspices of Taza Kazakhstan, there is an opportunity to contribute to the development of the country, improve the appearance and make their native area even better.

After the cleanup, the rescuers organized useful training: using models and special equipment, participants were shown the rules of behavior on reservoirs, as well as the principles of observing fire safety techniques. In the entertainment part, students of the Rudny Social and Humanitarian College organized musical warm-ups, sports competitions and a quest. Upon completion, winners were chosen in the following categories: “Best Team” and “Biggest Bag of Garbage.”

It is worth noting that the Zhasyl El work teams began their activities to clean up and improve the city of Rudny on June 3 of this year. In total, over the summer period it is planned to involve 150 soldiers and 15 commanders in the improvement work. Environmental fighters not only work for the benefit of the city, but also provide assistance in cleaning the territories of Centers for the provision of special social services No. 1 and 2.
