Akim of the region congratulated doctors on their professional holiday

Today, akim of Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov took part in the solemn ceremony celebrating the Day of Medical Workers. During the event, Kumar Aksakalov got acquainted with the exhibition of special equipment for medical institutions, as well as equipment necessary for the prevention and treatment of patients.
The head of state pays special attention to the healthcare sector. On his instructions, the salaries of medical workers are increased, and the country is also implementing a two-year national project “Modernization of Rural Health Care”. As part of this project, 25 medical facilities are being built in our region. 6 of them have already been put into operation, construction and installation work has begun on 19.
“We annually increase funding for the healthcare sector,” noted the regional akim. “This produces positive results, which are reflected, first of all, in the main indicators of public health. Congratulations on your professional holiday - Medical Worker's Day! I wish you good health, patience, grateful patients and success in your important work! May your work bring you joy and satisfaction!”
Much attention today is paid to training qualified personnel. Since last year, 63 specialists have been studying residency in the region. This year they will be joined by 57 more people. For the first time, 20 specialists from the region were trained in the best clinics in Israel. Work is also actively underway to attract medical specialists to the Kostanay region. Last year alone, 160 specialists received lifts, and more than 70 doctors were provided with housing.
During the ceremony, a number of medical workers who distinguished themselves with special achievements were awarded high awards.
