Kostanay oblast actively introduces digital technologies in the sphere of health and education

A.Mukhambetov, akim of the Kostanay oblast reported this at the Central Communications Service site during a press conference.

“This year 432.5 million tenge has been allocated to provide Internet access to healthcare and education facilities” - noted Arkhimed Begezhanovich - As a result, by the end of the year, 85% of urban and rural schools and 93% of medical institutions will be connected to broadband Internet».

A systematic work is being carried out to equip educational institutions of the oblast with multimedia and computer equipment.

Besides, a specialized boarding school of information technologies "Ozat", equipped with modern equipment and advanced technologies, has been opened. The IT-school provides a wide range of high-quality educational services, in-depth training in the exact sciences and information technologies, the development of programming skills, the cultivation of a culture of IT-technologies. There are classrooms for robotics, 3D modeling and eSports.

Arkhimed Mukhambetov also informed journalists that almost all medical organizations of the oblast introduced the medical information system.
