Work continues in the region to provide assistance to residents affected by the flood. The region is taking all necessary measures to ensure that people who have lost their homes find new housing as soon as possible.
Almost all the affected houses have already been examined. Of these, 475 houses, unfortunately, cannot be restored, 876 houses require repairs.
In return for destroyed housing, Kostanay families receive apartments or new houses are built for them.
Today, akim of the Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov visited the Mustafin family, who received one of the purchased apartments in the city of Kostanay.
Unfortunately, the previous home of the Mustafin family cannot be restored. Flooding led to the destruction of the materials from which the house was built.
The local commission offered the family two options: build a new house with the allocated amount (22.8 million tenge) or buy ready-made housing in the city. The Mustafin family decided to buy an apartment in a multi-storey building.
The state continues to provide assistance to families affected by the disaster. According to the regional akim, everything possible will be done in the region to ensure that people who have lost their homes find new housing as soon as possible.
“We are also working to minimize the damage caused by the disaster and continue to maximally protect residents of the region from such disasters,” Kumar Aksakalov emphasized.
