The restoration of power supply to settlements affected by floods is under constant control of the Regional Operational Headquarters.
To date, in the southern region of the region, out of 37 settlements, power supply has been fully restored in 23 settlements. Reconstruction work continues in the remaining villages.
The connection to all other villages is obstructed due to damage to a large number of power line supports that are in the water, which prevents the passage of special equipment. As the area dries out, emergency crews will begin carrying out the necessary work.
At the moment, work continues to restore power supply in the village of Ekidin and the Tauish substation. Work is underway to dry the cable channels and open the trays for further cable laying and power supply. About 35 people and 20 units of specialized equipment were involved in restoring power supply.
It is also planned to involve companies to bring the entire power supply scheme into compliance. Given the situation of local residents, the deadlines for contractors will be tight.
