Local executive bodies are actively working to eliminate the consequences of floods, including providing assistance to victims in restoring property losses.
A technical inspection and damage assessment of the affected property and residential buildings is currently underway.
For the restoration of residential buildings, compensation in the form of cash will be paid to the victims, based on the assessment of damage for repair work. If residential buildings are recognized as emergency and unsuitable for restoration, the owners of such houses will be reimbursed by purchasing housing or building a new one according to a standard project with an area of 80 square meters. The issue of ways to provide housing to victims is at the stage of decision at the government level, which will be announced later.
As of April 14 of this year, 367 residential buildings were surveyed in three regions, of which, according to preliminary data, 163 are subject to restoration, and 204 are not. In the Amangeldy district, 100 houses were surveyed, of which 61 cannot be restored, and 39 require repair. 84 houses were surveyed in the Dzhangeldy district, of which 67 are not subject to restoration, and 17 are in need of repair. In the city of Arkalyk, 183 houses were examined, of which 76 are not subject to restoration, and 107 are in need of repair.
On April 12, 405 million tenge was allocated from the Government's emergency reserve for the purchase of housing in the city of Arkalyk. As the survey progresses, the necessary funds will be allocated in stages.
Work on the inspection of the affected residential buildings continues.sti
