A COMMON MISFORTUNE HAS UNITED KOSTANAY RESIDENTS

Thousands of volunteers are engaged in fortification works in Kostanay and Kostanay region. People load sand into bags all day long, erect embankments. The sharply deteriorated weather does not interfere with well-coordinated work.
In total, about three thousand volunteers are involved in Kostanay region. These are people of different ages. There are representatives of the older generation who could not help but join the general marathon of helping the city.
Kostanay residents support the volunteers as much as they can. Someone brings thermoses with hot tea, someone feeds the volunteers with homemade cakes.
Our volunteers deliver food 24/7 to rescuers, police officers and residents of neighborhoods affected by the flood, and collect humanitarian aid.
Now there is an important task: to try to "keep out" large amounts of water in populated areas.
The most massive flood relief measures have now been deployed in Kostanay and Kostanay region. They involve almost one and a half thousand people from government, law enforcement agencies, rescuers, public utilities, etc..
