Placement of victims in evacuation centers of Kostanay region

Work continues in the region to counteract the flooding that has engulfed the southern regions.

The operational headquarters is working under the chairmanship of Akim of Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov.

The reception of injured people in evacuation centers has been organized. One of these is located in the dormitory building of the Arkalyk Polytechnic College.

All necessary assistance is provided to the victims: round-the-clock medical staff is on duty, clothes, food and basic necessities are provided.

Flood victims say that after the evacuation they were taken to a hostel, where they were able to relax, warm up and wash their clothes. They express their gratitude to all those who are not indifferent, who did not stay away, who send humanitarian aid.The families were also paid the first money.

A total of 796 people were evacuated from the flooded villages. Most of them preferred to wait out the natural disaster by staying with their relatives and friends. About 200 people are accommodated in evacuation centers.
