How will the education of children be organized in the flooded areas of Kostanay region

The flood situation in the southern regions of Kostanay region remains difficult.
The regional operational headquarters continues its work under the chairmanship of the head of the region Kumar Asksakalov.
One of the first instructions of the Akim of the region was to organize the educational process for children from the affected areas, including providing them with clothes, textbooks and an office.

In total, 267 children were evacuated in the districts, of which 215 were school-age children, 52 were of preschool age.
The children currently live with relatives and are also housed with their families in evacuation centers.
The educational process of children evacuated to the city of Arkalyk will be organized in OSH No. 5 named after M. Auezov in the second shift.

Families affected by floods in the Amangelda and Dzhangelda districts are housed in a boarding school and a house of creativity in the village of Torgai.

In total, distance learning will be organized in 11 schools: 10 schools in Amangeldy district (1739 children) and 1 school in Dzhangeldy district (44 children).
Students are provided with everything necessary for the educational process, funds for this are taken from the Universal Education Fund.
Classrooms and textbooks for children are already ready in schools, and meals for schoolchildren will be organized from the first day of the quarter. All children are provided with school uniforms and stationery, the Department of Education noted.
