The flood situation is under the personal control of Akim of Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov

To date, the flood situation, especially in the southern regions of the region, is under the personal control of Akim of Kostanay region K. Aksakalov.
A total of 161 were flooded in the region, including 31 courtyard territories and 130 residential buildings.
Forces and means in the amount of 965 people, 496 pieces of equipment, 164 motor pumps, 22 swimming facilities, 4 aircraft are involved in all areas.
716 people were rescued (Arkalyk – 357 people; Amangeldy district -195 people; Zhangeldinsky district – 164 people).
In total, about 482 thousand m3 of water was pumped out in the region during the flood period, 144 thousand m3 over the past day. 570 tons of inert materials were poured out during the flood period.
On behalf of the akim of the region, a commission for damage assessment has been established. One-time social assistance in the amount of 50 MCI or 184.6 thousand tenge is provided through social protection. In case of damage to immovable and movable property, livestock, etc., the victims will receive payments from the local budget. The amount of damage is determined by independent appraisers who are involved in local executive bodies.
In addition to budgetary funds, additional assistance will be provided at the expense of voluntary sponsorship funds from caring citizens and entrepreneurs.
As of March 29, 2024, district damage compensation commissions have been established in all three regions, which include all the necessary authorized bodies.
Funds were paid to 33 families in the village of Kyzyl Zhuldyz for a total amount of 18,400 thousand tenge.
