In Kostanay region, work is underway to restore destroyed sections of highways.

At the moment, traffic on 8 highways of regional significance is limited in the southern regions of Kostanay region.
There is a destruction of 3 automobile bridges and 8 sections of the Arkalyk roadway, as well as the 1st section of the road of regional significance in Amangeldy district and 2 in Dzhangeldy district.
At a meeting of the operational headquarters, Akim of the region Kumar Aksakalov instructed to repair damaged sections of roads as soon as possible. In accordance with the current legislation, in emergency mode, these works are carried out without organizing competitive procedures.
According to the head of the Department of Passenger Transport and Highways O.Nurgaliev, the authorities have begun to restore all the destroyed sites. Communication with the villages of Zhalgyztal and Tselinnoye has already been restored. Work is currently underway to restore the entrance to the village of Kaindy, which will continue at night and will be completed by morning.
