"We are taking all possible necessary measures: first of all, 443 people were evacuated from the areas of meltwater flooding
(Arkalyk – 307 people, Amangeldy district – 46 people, Zhangeldinsky district – 90 people), - said the Head of the region. - In total, about 200 thousand m3 of water was pumped out in the region during the flood period, 85 thousand m3 over the past day. m3.
More than 4 thousand bags were packed, including 1,500 bags during these days.
About 500 tons of inert materials were poured out, and 300 tons over the past day."
More than 900 people from among the employees of local akimats, emergency situations, police, and Kazaviaspas are involved.
There are 438 pieces of equipment, including 156 motor pumps, 20 swimming facilities, 4 aircraft, etc.
Since yesterday, the governor of the region has been in Arkalyk, meeting with residents, supervising flood control work.
On behalf of K.Aksakalov, a commission for damage assessment was established.
An emergency regime has been declared in Amangelda, Dzhangelda districts and Arkalyk. Not a single victim will be left without attention. Everyone will be helped.
