K.Aksakalov: Work continues on dual training of students, as well as on a targeted order

At a meeting of the Akimat of Kostanay region, chaired by the akim of the region Kumar Aksakalov, issues of preparation for spring field work and the implementation of regional youth policy were discussed.
"We pay great attention to the diversification of crop production," said the Head of the region. - In this regard, last year the indicator of oilseed crops was included in the list of KPIs for assessing the activities of akims."
This year, these crops are planned to be sown on an area
of 750 thousand hectares, which is 13.5% more than last year.
However, an analysis of the work on preparation for spring field work showed that plans for this indicator have not been fulfilled in all regions.
There are no oilseeds in the Amangeldinsky, Auliekolsky, Denisovsky and Sarykolsky districts.
The akims of these regions should ensure the harvesting of oilseeds before the start of the sowing campaign, and the akimat of the Fedorovsky district should confirm the missing 19 thousand hectares for sowing oilseeds.
As for the sowing of buckwheat and potatoes, the volumes have not been confirmed in the area of B. Mailin, Dzhangeldinsky and Fedorovsky districts, as well as in
Arkalyk.
These products are socially significant and their stocks are controlled in the regional stability fund. In order to avoid shortages, we need to produce them in full.
I instruct the akimats of the regions to ensure the fulfillment of planned indicators for sowing these crops.
"The issue of mineral fertilizers is also important," Kumar Aksakalov said. "The Head of State pays great attention to this issue and has set the task of applying mineral fertilizers to at least 50% of the demand."
In a recent speech, the Head of State emphasized the special role of youth in building a just state.
In the region, young people make up a third of the population, 130 thousand young people are employed in the economy.
Since 2023, on behalf of the Head of State, there has been a program of preferential lending to young people at 2.5%.
Many investment projects are being implemented in the region, so it is important to provide enterprises with qualified personnel. Work continues on the dual training of students, as well as on the target order.
For the third year in a row, the program of preferential housing loans "Kostanai Zhastary" has been operating to improve the living conditions of young people. In 2023, more than 100 young families received housing. The program will be continued this year.
