Investment council to be established in Kostanay region

As part of the implementation of the instructions given by the Head of State at an expanded meeting of the government, Akim of Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov held a staff meeting. The meeting was attended by akims of districts and cities, as well as heads of regional departments. The deputy akims of the region, A. Abenov and E. Spanov, made presentations.
The President has set a number of key tasks for the state apparatus, including attracting investments. For this purpose, the Investment Attraction Council of Kostanay region is being created under the leadership of the akim of the region. The task of the council is to ensure the growth and diversification of the economy through the implementation of investment projects and the prompt resolution of emerging issues for investors, and its work will be based on the principle of the Republican Investment Headquarters.
The growth of investments in fixed assets is an essential condition for supporting the current rate of economic growth. At the local level, attracting private investment is the task of the mayors of all cities and districts.
Attracting investments should ensure the growth of production and increase jobs. This is the main factor in evaluating the activities of akims at all levels.
At the meeting, the governor of the region drew attention to the problems in the construction sector.
"I have repeatedly raised these issues. First of all, strict quality control of housing construction is necessary, starting from the very design stage.
It is necessary to keep the issue of point development under control. I have already given the appropriate instruction to ban such construction in densely populated areas where there is a risk of excessive load on infrastructure," the head of the region noted.
In addition, in his speech, the Head of State instructed to pay special attention to the improvement of cities. The most important issues are landscaping and cleaning.
According to K.Aksakalov, the company for the removal of household waste "Tazalyk-2012" will be supported by issuing a loan in the amount of 175 million tenge for the purchase of additional equipment and containers, as a result, the issue of garbage in the city of Kostanay will be completely resolved.
Also this year, it is necessary to carry out mass landscaping in all cities and districts of the region. Kumar Aksakalov instructed the akims of the regions to keep this issue under control and ensure its high-quality execution.
