The Republican Council of Veterans held a seminar in Kostanay

A delegation from Astana and regional veterans' organizations of Kazakhstan came to us to take part in the discussion of the tasks set by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the September Address to the people of Kazakhstan. The delegation is headed by the chairman of the NGO "Organization of Veterans" Baktykozha Izmukhambetov.
The participants of the seminar were welcomed by Akim of Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov:
- Today, at the initiative of the Head of State Tokayev, large-scale political and socio-economic reforms are being carried out in the country. There is growth in many economic indicators in our region. This is, first of all, the development of the agricultural sector, where there is a significant increase in investment, an increase in the index of physical volume and the total number of products produced. The construction of dairy farms in areas whose construction has already begun will contribute to reducing import dependence. The opening of new production facilities, such as the construction of the KIA automobile plant, will entail the emergence of new jobs. Dear veterans! Kazakhstan has long had a good tradition of honoring elders. I congratulate you on the Republic Day and wish you health and long life!
On behalf of the President, the Akim of the region presented high state awards – the Parasat Order to the chairman of the Council of Veterans of Zhambyl region Yerkimbek Soltybayev and his colleague from the North Kazakhstan region Eskendir Eleusizov.
Chairman of the republican organization of veterans Baktykozha Izmukhambetov, deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who worked in the oil industry of the country from driller to minister, made a speech:
- The work of veterans' organizations in the regions is set at the proper level. With the emergence of new regions – Abai, Zhetysu and Ulytaus, the corresponding regional councils of veterans also arose. Our main goal is the implementation of Presidential reforms. Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined several areas of development, paying a lot of attention to the social vector. Thus, the President's proposal to charge funds to all Kazakhstani children under the age of 18 within the framework of the National Fund for Children project was widely approved. The first charges will be received in February 2024. The real step towards democratization was the election of akims of cities of regional significance and districts. The people also take part in the discussion of the construction of a nuclear power plant. Of course, this step will be possible only with the consent of the citizens of Kazakhstan.
