Financing of fire extinguishing and emergency rescue services has been increased 3.2 times this year

Today at the meeting of the akimat of the region under the chairmanship of the akim
K.Aksakalov of Kostanay region considered the issues of fire safety measures during the heating period and the development of technical and vocational education.
With the onset of the heating period, household fires occur in residential buildings and apartments, the causes of which are often gross violations of fire safety rules during the operation of heating systems and installations, furnace heating, overload of the power grid, as well as the banal negligence of the citizens themselves.
For example, in the heating season of 2022-2023, 285 fires were registered, which is 14 more cases or 5.2% more than in the 2021-2022 season.
It is important to remind you once again that it is possible to prevent a fire by thinking through the fulfillment of simple requirements in advance.
Financing for the purchase of machinery and equipment for equipping fire extinguishing and emergency rescue services this year is 1.1 billion tenge, which is 3.2 times more than last year (in 2022 - 344.6 million tenge). With these funds, 8 units of equipment have been purchased this year: fire tankers, emergency rescue vehicles, etc., as well as 958 units of material and technical equipment.
The financing of the technical and vocational education system is increasing. Over the past 3 years, it has increased from
9 billion tenge to 17 billion, that is, almost 2 times.
In the discussion of the second issue, the akim of the region noted that the task of meeting the needs of new production facilities with qualified personnel is the active development and transformation of the TVET sphere. Colleges should become more flexible, mobile and oriented to the needs of the labor market. It is necessary to constantly work on expanding the list of specialties.
Colleges are working on the opening of new specialties, taking into account the specifics of our region, as well as new investment projects, such as "construction of a KIA car manufacturing plant,"Construction of a dry port – a transport and logistics complex "Qostanay", the creation of dairy farms.
Regarding the target order, today only 717 students study at colleges according to the orders of enterprises. Whereas, according to the employment authorities in the region, the need for personnel with technical and vocational education is 2 times more – 1,463 people. This indicator needs to be increased. To do this, it is important to work on increasing the reception within the target order from the enterprises of the region.
For their part, enterprises that have a need for personnel should intensify cooperation with colleges, get involved in the activities of boards of trustees, participate in targeted ordering and dual training.
In addition, for the second year in colleges, a project is being implemented to place a targeted state order for personnel training at the request of enterprises. A prerequisite for such cooperation is the employment of graduates. This year, it is planned to accept 720 places in 25 colleges with the participation of 43 companies of the region by target order.
Cooperation between enterprises and colleges not only improves the infrastructure of organizations, but also provides high-quality training of specialists. It is necessary to scale this work to all colleges of the region.
At the same time, the education department needs to strengthen career guidance work in educational organizations. This work is aimed at identifying children and adolescents' interests and abilities for certain types of professional activities.
"Employers, SHTP also need to carry out such work: meet with school graduates, conduct excursions to their enterprises," the head of the region noted.
