A meeting of the Akimat was held

Today, at a meeting of the Akimat of the region, chaired by Akim of Kostanay region K. Aksakalov, issues of interaction with non-governmental organizations and civil society, and measures to stabilize prices for socially important and food products were considered.
This year, the amount of the state social order increased by 40% or by 297.0 million tenge compared to last year.
This year, 33% of the total budget of the state social order is aimed at supporting socially vulnerable segments of the population. Compared to last year, the amount has been increased by 2.5 times.
"The responsibility for the implementation of the state social order lies not only on state bodies, but also directly on the performers – non-governmental organizations.
The Department of Social Development, based on the results of the implementation of projects, needs to analyze the satisfaction of the services received and monitor the effectiveness of each project to address social issues.
When implementing the state social order, appropriate KPI indicators should initially be provided," the Head of the region noted.
One of the reasons for the price increase is import dependence. The market is provided with food products of its own production, but these volumes are not enough. In this connection, the region is actively working in this direction. This requires the development of livestock industries, as well as the construction of vegetable storages.
The stabilization fund of food products created in the region allows us to stabilize prices for socially significant food products during their seasonal growth, and ensures the sale of goods at below-market prices.
In the current year, the reserves of the stabilization fund have been replenished in the amount of about 11 thousand tons for 10 types of products. These are potatoes, carrots, cabbage, onions, flour, horns, rice, salt, butter and chicken egg.
The stable fund has purchased the necessary amount of products to contain prices. The volumes of rice, potatoes, vegetables, poultry meat and eggs have been contracted.
