August meeting

For two days in Kostanay, teachers from all over the country discussed issues of inclusive and special education at the sectional and plenary session of the republican August meeting.
"The number of children with special needs is growing in our region and this sets us the task of providing comprehensive assistance to children at an early age. Thanks to the implemented state programs and the support of the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Foundation, 4 special schools of the region received the necessary equipment, 20 robotics classrooms were installed in rural schools. It is planned to modernize 4 more schools," said Akim of Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov.
In general, financing this year amounts to 178.5 billion tenge, which is 18% more than last year's figure (in 2022 – 151.8 billion tenge). Akimat of Kostanay region will strengthen work on improving this area and ensuring equal education for all children.
