Kumar Aksakalov: Local entrepreneurs should participate in the construction of houses in Kostanay

Today, Akim of Kostanay region K. Aksakalov visited the Kunai microdistricts and the Airport in the city of Kostanay to get acquainted with the current state of construction of multi-storey residential buildings.
The construction of 19 five-storey residential buildings in the Kunai microdistrict was started in 2020. To date, contracts have been concluded with Aktobe Saulet LLP for 17 houses, of which 9 houses have already been commissioned. The commissioning of the remaining 8 houses will be carried out in stages.
To complete the construction of two houses, contracts were signed with ERA Service LLP. Currently, the construction work has been completed, and the act on putting the houses into operation is being signed.
In the Airport microdistrict in 2022, the construction of three 9-storey buildings was resumed, the construction of which began in 2019. The construction contract was concluded with Nurkapstroygaz LLP. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in October 2023.
Also in May 2021, construction of a 108-apartment residential building with the participation of Aktobe Saulet LLP began, at the moment about 25% of the work has been completed.
For various reasons, the construction of apartment buildings in new neighborhoods is being delayed. What primarily affects citizens standing in line for housing.
Unfortunately, there were cases when unfinished apartments were distributed, as a result of which it was necessary to redistribute housing waiting lists to other houses.
Akim of the region noted that, in the future, it is necessary to distribute waiting lists to homes only after completion of construction.
It is worth noting that companies from other regions of Kazakhstan often act as contractors in the construction of new houses. It is necessary that local entrepreneurs participate in the construction of houses, thereby creating jobs and increasing tax revenues to the regional budget, K.Aksakalov summed up.
To date, 13,832 citizens are on the waiting list for housing from the public housing fund of the city of Kostanay: 519 of them are large families, 2,241 orphans, 5,334 socially vulnerable segments of the population.
In addition to the Moscow Railway, the construction of social facilities is planned in these microdistricts. For example, in mkr. Kunai construction company LLP "PKF "Grenada" will build a secondary school for 900 students. The completion of the facility is scheduled for August of this year. In mkr. The airport has begun construction of a kindergarten for 280 places.
In addition, this year it is planned to repair 65 streets of the regional center, with a total length of 34.3 kilometers, and 45 courtyards totaling 8.6 billion tenge, which is 3 times more than in 2022.
Upon completion of the detour, Akim of the region K.Aksakalov instructed the mayor of the city to work out the issue of taking additional measures to improve the new neighborhood, namely the construction of playgrounds and sports grounds, as well as landscaping of the new district.
