Today, Akim of the region Archimedes Mukhambetov reported to the public council and deputies of the regional maslikhat on the fulfillment of the functions and tasks assigned to him.
According to the head of the region, the work carried out in order to implement the instructions of the Head of State has a positive impact on the results of the socio-economic development of the region, including the incomes and quality of life of the population of the region.
As the governor of the region notes, according to the results of 6 months of 2022, positive dynamics was recorded in relation to all major macroeconomic indicators. Significant growth is observed in the manufacturing industry, in particular in mechanical engineering, where the range of produced models of passenger cars is constantly expanding. For 6 months, 31.0 thousand cars were assembled, 1.2 thousand units were exported.
- It should be noted that 62% of the cars assembled in the republic are produced at the factories of the region. The implementation of investment projects is under special control, since attracting investment is one of the main drivers of the country's economy.
To date, a pool of 52 projects worth more than 1.8 trillion tenge has been created in the region with the creation of about 8 thousand new jobs," said Archimedes Mukhambetov.
In 2022, 101.2 billion tenge is provided for the support of agriculture. This year, spring sowing amounted to 4.8 million hectares, including 3.9 million hectares of cereals and legumes, including 3.5 million hectares of wheat.
Also, this year it is planned to repair more than 550 km of roads and 224 streets of settlements. According to the results of this year, the share of highways of regional and district significance that are in good and satisfactory condition is planned to be increased from 78% to 85%.
– For 2022, within the framework of the National Project "Strong regions - the driver of the country's development" and the project "Auyl El Besigi", 20.5 billion tenge has been allocated for the implementation of 48 projects on water supply and sanitation, -the governor of the region said.
At the same time, the financing of the education sector this year amounted to 149.1 billion tenge. The construction of 3 schools for 5.5 billion tenge continues. Repairs are being carried out in 105 educational institutions for 6.7 billion tenge.
-Our main goal is to contribute to improving the well–being of the population, as well as to contribute to solving important issues in the region. I am sure that the solution and implementation of all set goals and objectives will give a great impetus to the development of Kostanay region," Arikhmed Mukhambetov summed up.
