The National Bank of Kazakhstan warns about the activation of fraudulent groups positioning themselves as investment companies. Attackers create mobile applications, websites and commercials describing programs to attract funds from individuals to management, developed jointly with second-tier banks, the National Bank or other government agencies.

Such advertising is fake.

The identified fraudulent resources and applications offer quick profits on "state reserves", "National resources" of Kazakhstan or forecasting the dynamics of the financial market. By leaving a request on such a site, users run the risk of losing money: fraudsters receive personal data and, by contacting by phone, convince them to transfer money to the necessary details. At the same time, users may be forced to invest additional money in order to return the previously invested amounts.

If you or your friends have encountered similar sites, mobile applications, or have become a victim of telephone scams, we strongly recommend that you apply to law enforcement agencies with an appropriate application to conduct fraud proceedings.

We remind you that the National Bank does not service the accounts of individuals, does not conduct monetary settlements and transactions, and also does not participate in the development of any platforms for earning on "state reserves" or "National resources".
